ABOUT

Devaughn Marcelle is a San Francisco-based artist, photographer, and industrial designer with a diverse background. Born in San Jose, he discovered his passion for aviation during childhood visits to nearby Moffett Field. This early interest led him to enlist in the United States Navy after high school, where he honed his hands-on skills and critical thinking while working on aircraft such as the F/A-18 Super Hornet and F-35 Lightning II.
After his military service, Devaughn transitioned to the tech sector by working at Intel. He eventually returned to San Francisco to engage in innovative tech ventures, including lidar start-up, Ouster, and medical device company Medtronic. After some time in tech, Devaughn decided to pursue his passion for design, completing his BFA in Industrial Design at California College of the Arts.
In his free time, Devaughn likes to start art, ride bikes (4stroke or 11speed), pretend he's Federer on the tennis court but Chicken Joe on a surfboard, and sometimes overanalyze random details of Middle-earth while watching mini-docs on Cold War technology... His favorite Jet is the F-14D Tomcat ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
